THE POWER OF SUGGESTION -D. A. Marsh

"If you don't remove that hand right now, Mister, I will from your wrist," Kirk warned, in a quiet growl that only a fool would ignore....

EGYPTIAN DREAMS- Nefertari

My native place is an isle in the middle of the Great Green Sea. My home is my ship. She gives me freedom and adventure. Since my childhood I have heard the stories, stories of far away cultures and stories of a beautiful land on the river Nile.

And so I dreamt a dream, the same as long as I can remember....

A DOCTOR'S TALE -Corey Fauer

I'm always suspicious when things are going too smoothly. It's like the Enterprise crew isn't allowed to relax. So, after a week of smooth sailing, I was starting to get nervous. I wasn't the only one. I was beginning to see careless accidents, crewpeople tripping over their own feet, that kind of thing. I figured it was time to talk to Jim....

THE DELTAN DILEMMA -Karin Porter

Immediately after the Enterprise assumed orbit around Starbase 11, Captain Kirk and Commander Spock beamed down to the Starfleet administrative office, as ordered. The base was always busy, but was even more so now, as a diplomatic conference had recently ended....

AFTER THE RAIN- Paris Vautrain

The rain fell and after time turned the dry sand to a lush green paradise, as a riot of plants and grasses appeared seemingly from nowhere.

Small insects emerged from deep beneath the surface, scurrying in a desperate race to find food before the land died once more beneath the rays of the twin suns.

The small group of travelers huddled together under the all-weather omiplas sheet and waited for the downpour to diminish....

REACHING EDEN- Kathy Stanis

"Hey, brother, am I crossing you?"

He was indeed, but Spock, who had been declared practically ONE by the band of Edenists, put down his work and patiently gave his attention to the young man who had just entered his quarters. Adam and his cohorts were to be treated as guests rather than prisoners, per orders from Command.

FRUITS & NUTS- Jenna Sinclair

The Federation Times-Herald was available to member of Starfleet at no cost. Therefore the subscription rate was close to 95%, the military being notorious for high adventure but low wages, and enlisted folks being savvy to a good deal when they saw one....

JUST DESSERTS- Scott Hunter

"Message for you, Captain." Turning, James Kirk looked into the dark eyes of one of the few command crew who qualified as a friend. "It is coded personal, sir...."

INTO THE LIGHT -Cordelia Naismith

They dashed out of the cavernous dark and into the filtered light, as the last of the tunnel collapsed behind them pushing rubble and air like some giant's hand....

UNTOUCHED -Shelley Butler

Even the seen-it-all woman with the vacant eyes noticed him.

Her eyelash-enhanced lids lifted over vision-enhanced eyes and color-enhanced sky blue irises as her expensively jeweled finger swept provocatively through thickness-enchanced, Ultra-Champagne blond-enchanced hair. She shifted in the plush lavender chair and carefully crossed her laser-sculptured legs in a hopefully very meaningful way....
